Ceramic Fanatics ( 10 years +)

Ceramic Fanatics takes a route into self-led clay building and modelling for novice ceramic sculptors. Bringing inspirational, personal ideas to the creative table, participants will take on ambitious outcomes in material processes and scale. Introductions to new decorative strategies such as coloured slips, glazes, and surface decoration is the focus, with exploration of vessel-making techniques from hand building, coiling, slab building and throwing.

Sketchbook Studies ( 10 years +)

Get back to the basics in learning Fine Art techniques with Sketchbook Studies.  For artists aged 10 years and above, come improve upon observational drawing skills, mark-making techniques, perspective, linear and tonal drawing as well as a collaboration of traditional and contemporary painting methods.

Learn how to use your digital camera to take REAL photos!  FotoFundamentals is designed to introduce the basics of digital photography for new and not-so-new avid young photographers.  You will learn the ins and outs of your very own camera as well as how to improve those "not-so-perfect" shots.

Pulp Fiction is all about experiencing the creative process involved in comic art production from scripting, structuring, and designing ideas into a storyboard.  The course offers a better understanding of how to synergize creative writing with visual concepts.

Following on with our current theme of exploring the relationship between the Arts and Sciences, we are excited to announce our upcoming workshops in computer science and coding for inquisitive young minds. Combining various programming languages with artistic projects and practical outputs, participants will gain a unique perspective into the world of technology and science, all whilst developing and enhancing their own sense of artistry and creative vision.

In this fun and friendly introduction to the world of science, robotics, computer coding and art, meet Cubetto - the little robot who you can programme to follow a series of tasks at your command! We'll explore and understand the basics of computer programming by completing a series of simple but engaging puzzles and tasks designed to stimulate young minds, building a solid foundational repertoire that combines the scientific with the creative.

By learning about different coding elements, their functions and applications every week, we'll build a solid, foundational computer programming tool-kit for the scientifically-minded artists out there - with a creative twist!
